A one-press slicer for hard-boiled eggs, built around ten tensioned stainless steel wires set 0.2 inch apart. One stroke gives 11 even pieces, which is what you want for a sandwich or the top of a salad.
The wires are 304 stainless steel, mechanically pressed into a reinforced aluminium body, and the interface where wire meets frame is doubled up so the wires hold their tension. The cradle is shaped to the curve of an egg so nothing slides off mid-cut, and the raised base keeps food off the worktop.
